Event Navigation

FamilySong Music Class is a multicultural music and movement class for families with kids ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We sing upbeat and inspiring songs in English and in different languages, play instruments and dance with silk scarves to live drumming and guitar. Each week teacher Kristin McLean brings a new ‘featured world music instrument’ for kids and families to hear and play, including djembe, steel drum, harmonium and more! Kids grow their brains and bodies through active music making and families love the music in this 45 minute class.
Each session of FamilySong Music Class includes a FamilySong Music CD, a FamilySong Music download card and a book featuring lyrics, guitar and piano music for each song, info and photos of the featured instruments on each song, where each song is from and suggested activities
